schooltube - April 12
Just looked around a little on schooltube. Tried to import a video from online and it didn't support it. Will follow up with further uploaded videos later. Think it might be a good tool for school use.

Voicethread
I tried the Voicethread program. I tried it before with a short Lord of the Flies movie. It's a great tool, but it takes a long time. My juniors use it as their end of the year project for the study of the "American Dream." They trace the development of the American Dream and how this is reflected in literature. It's a great project - but again, it takes a lot of time.
Delicious - Social Bookmarking
I set up my delicious site and started to add some of my bookmarks, but i've only attached a fraction of them so far. I like the convenience, and think I will use it, but I don't like the fact that you can't separate the links into folders - the regular folder function is much easier. (The tags don't organize links as well.) I think I may work with this tool for lesson planning, but it's not as crucial for me as others, since I always use the same computer.

Google Docs - Feb. 15
I've tried Google docs for uploading documents. Unsure of the difference between Google docs and google pages - though I guess these are being changed to google sites. I don't have time to manage them all, so I'll have to decide.

Voice Thread - December 7
I tried the voice thread site today. Will need to play with it more to figure out how to use it in the classroom.

October 5 2009
One small step in technology - one huge leap for me. I've just created a blog. As the colonists would say in the War for Independence, "Huzzah".
